It has high-performance deformation-congruence with respect to all the tires of various cars / motorcycles / bicycles, and all kinds of rubber base material, and also has amazing adherence, even over long periods. Moreover, after completely hardening, the coating bestows lubricant and mold-releasing characteristics, to firmly protect from soiling due to rain and road surfaces. This is the birth of a new standard in uniting aesthetics and function properties in tire protection!
Hybrid coat / ND9 for tires
ND9 has a molecular structure with extremely strong bond energies between its molecules, and is a special polsiloxane surface coating agent for rubber, comprised from a skeleton of siloxane bonds. In other words, the inorganic ceramic molecules in ND9 undergo strong bonds with the constituent molecules of the rubber on the surface of the tire, forming a hybrid hardened coating as though the surface of the tire has been given a glass coat. Because the coating is formed through the bonding of the coating agent and the rubber molecules, the coat formation process is fundamentally different to, for example, traditional tire waxes, where the constituent oils in the wax are simply resting on or adhering to the tire surface. Additionally, having superior deformation congruence with respect to the elasticity of all kinds of rubber, ND9 is flexible and exhibits strong adhesion, regardless of the kind of rubber. Moreover, after completely hardening, the coating bestows lubricant and mold-releasing characteristics, to firmly protect from soiling due to rain and road surfaces. Maintains the aesthetics of the tire surface for long periods.
ND9 coating performance
Maintains the original, natural luster of the rubber on the tire surface for long periods (6 months to 2 years), after hardening.
Having superior water-repellent and oil repellent properties, it is easy to remove dirt that has adhered to the surface of the tire from the road surface.
Because it also has UV-cutting properties, it blocks UV light that can have a considerable effect on the deterioration of the tire.
Using a sponge or microfiber with fine pores, apply a small amount of ND9 thinly and directly onto the tire. Next, allow to dry for at least 15 hours at room temperature.
Try to apply as thin a coating as possible (5 to 10 μm (micrometers)).
20 to 40 ml of applied material per 1 ㎡ (1 m × 1 m) → film thickness of 5 to 10 μm (micrometers).
Avoid driving directly after applying, as this results in deteriorated adherence.
Reference number of tires per bottle
For tire size 195/80R15, 8～10 tires can be coated per bottle of ND9 / 120ml.
About 6 months to 2 years. Differs depending on the grade of tire, the usage frequency and conditions for the vehicle, and the local climate.
It is possible to make an additional coat using the normal application method if the effect of the ND9 diminishes.
Store in a cool location, avoiding direct sunlight, high temperatures, and humidity. Additionally, take care not to forget to secure the lid of the container, otherwise components of the contents may harden.
The coating should adhere for a period of about 6 months to 2 years !
In releasing ND9, we conducted the numerous endurance tests for the below properties of the coating. As a comprehensive judgment from the results from each individual test, we determined that the data values show that ND9 is retained for a duration of about 2 years. However, please be aware that the retention duration of ND9 will differ depending on the grade of the tires used, the usage conditions and frequency of the vehicle, the weight of the vehicle, the local climate, and the season in which it was applied.
